Nagranie te są prawie całkowicie instrumentalne - rock progresywny, jazz, funk i disco - dziś stanowią nieprzebraną kopalnie muzycznych inspiracji.
What are Library Records? They're called library records for two reasons; first because they were made to provide a library of music and sounds to be used by producers of television, films, radio and theatre, both professional and amateur. And secondly because they were often made available through public libraries. These records, mostly from the heyday of vinyl (70s-early 80s), cover every imaginable genre but share some qualities which have made them much desired and collectable. Mostly made by session musicians and studio engineers they are free of the constraints of 'pop music' charts and 'song writing rules' and instead often exhibit virtuoso playing, experimentation, eccentricity and stunning audiophile production! Almost entirely instrumentals, much flavoured by the progressive rock, jazz, funk and disco of the day they are goldmine of rare break beats, out of this world electronics and unexpected combinations of instruments.
